How to Smoke Salmon | Traeger Pro 575 Wifire

In this video I demonstrate how easy it is to make Teriyaki Smoked Salmon using the NEW Traeger Pro 575 with the Wifire enabled feature.
This recipe came from the Traeger App (Matt Pittman) and is one of thousands at your disposal.

Preparation:
Remove all pin bones from salmon and pour home made marinade over the Salmon.
After 2 hours, remove salmon from marinade and rinse off and pat dry.
When ready to cook, use the Traeger Wifire App and selected to start the Traeger, it sets the temperature to 275F degrees.
While your Traeger is coming up to temperature, which now only takes a few minutes….
Place Salmon on Traeger butcher paper and apply MeatChurch Honey Hog rub lightly over salmon.

After applying the rub, place the Salmon filet in your preheated Traeger.

Sauce:
1/2 CUP Soy Sauce
1/4 CUP Brown Sugar
2 Tbsp rice vinegar
1 Tbsp sesame oil
2 Tbsp Honey (Buzzywaxx)
3/4 tsp Ground Ginger
1 tsp fresh garlic
2 tsp cornstarch + 2 tsp water (slurry)

Glaze:
1/2 Stick Butter
2 TBS Pure Maple Syrup from BarrelAgedCreations
